This year's Calendar includes four instruments by Antonio Stradivari (three violins and one cello) and a selection from virtually every Italian lutherie hotbed: Cremona, Venice, Rome, Naples, Bologna and Turin. In keeping with Strad tradition, there's also a violin by Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume from Paris. The Calendar spans more than three centuries of instrument making, with the earliest dating from 1689 and the latest from 1902.
