Herdim Peg Shapers, Made in Germany
The brass bodies are fitted with double-sided blades that display high cutting performance and excellent edge life. Resharpening the blades is not recommended due to the different hardening of the cutting edges. Thanks to the replacement blades, time-consuming resharpening is unnecessary. The soft plastic case provides a comfortable, non-slip grip. All peg shapers come with instructions for use and a hexagonal key for adjusting the blade. Standard Blades and High Speed Steel(can be re-sharpened) blades are available separately.
Standard size suitable for 4/4 & 3/4 violin and standard viola. Small size suitable for 3/4 - 1/16. 50mm length, 30:1 taper. For use with #5063 Violin Peg Reamer.
